The last June cakes

Here are the last 2 June cakes. The Montana quilt square cake for a friend down the street and my sisters 11th anniversary cake which was designed to be similar to her wedding cake.
The quilt cake was completely covered in fondant and then the quilt pattern was hand painted with paste food colorings, and embellished with buttercream designs.
The anniversary cake was fun. One heart was chocolate with a chocolate cream cheese filling and the other was a vanilla cake with a peach cream filling. It was delicious. The roses and daisies were hand made from gum paste and then painted with the paste food colorings.

July is going to be a very busy month. I have 4 big birthday cakes and a wedding cake!

The last 2 weeks of July will be a camping vacation with my family in the mountains, far far away from my mixer!
