I am so happy with how my 3rd wedding cake turned out. It is more beautiful than I expected. I didn't get to see it assembled and truly "complete" until this afternoon when I set it up at the wedding. I am very proud of my self.
The scariest part for me, was after a good 20 minutes getting it assembled and the flowers attached, we got ready to leave (in the car even) and the mother of the groom approached us and told me that they really wanted the cake on a bigger table! I almost died. I knew there was no way to take the tiers back down, not with the flowers attached, so I offered to help move it in one piece! I honestly felt scared, but my husband helped and it really went smoothly.
I was glad to have the honor of making the cake and wish Kevin and Cari all the best.
