Ok I know the name is corny (no pun intended) but that is all I could think of while decorating this wedding cake! I loved this one. Working with the dragees (silver balls) was a ton of fun although very time consuming. Each one was hand placed on top of a tiny bead of icing. And although I wasn't sure how the sunflowers would look next to the silver at first I think it turned out really beautifully!
This is 2 tiers of chocolate cake and 1 of white cake, both with a vanilla buttercream filling. It amazes me how heavy cake can be once filled and stacked!
This one is getting lots of pictures, I had my husband take a few while I was decorating and I think they turned out quite neat! Enjoy and I will post a final picture of this tomorrow once it is set and has its topper in place!
