Yes I really did step out of the kitchen while a cake was being made, baked, and even frosted and decorated (I did whip up the buttercream frosting for them!!) It was delicious!!

Happy 11th Anniversary to us!!
So this year for our anniversary we decided to just have dinner at home. My wonderful sister and her family came for dinner and my kids decided to make us a cake!!
Yes I really did step out of the kitchen while a cake was being made, baked, and even frosted and decorated (I did whip up the buttercream frosting for them!!) It was delicious!!

I love it...isn't it wonderful when the kids get big enough to do nice things for Mom and Dad? Now if they could just keep their rooms clean...and do the dishes...and the laundry...and mow the lawn...and take out the trash...Oh yeah, they do do all those things.
